General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, a premier provider of ordnance weapons and tactical systems to the U.S. Department of Defense and allied nations, has an opening for a Human Resources Intern to join the Business Unit HR team at our General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL. ***This is an in-person internship in St. Petersburg, FL during the dates of May 20th and August 8th***
- Support the Talent Acquisition Partner for the full recruitment cycle which includes sourcing, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, presenting offers and performing pre-employment background checks
- Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
- Post, update, and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks
- Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
- Prepare HR-related reports as needed
- Assist with other HR activities, as needed

- Must be currently enrolled or accepted into a 2-4 year accredited college or university or have graduated in the last 6 months
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well with a diverse employee population are essential
- Must demonstrate organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, using discretion and independent judgement
- Bi-lingual in English & Spanish preferred
