Assignment Start Date: 1/31/2024
13 weeks | Varied | 8-12-hour shift | 40 hours/weekly guaranteed
The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed number of hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Please contact a recruiter for full details.Responsible for processing and maintaining instruments, equipment, and supplies in assigned areas. Works with management to provide sterile instruments and equipment, prepares procedure and surgical case carts, and assists in the optimal functioning of assigned areas.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Sterile Processing team significantly contributes to patient care by preparing equipment and rooms for surgery. We are responsible for the cleaning, decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation and medical devices to remove bioburden that can cause healthcare-acquired infections (HAIs)
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience: Endoscopy experience is preferred.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:
EMR System: EPIC experience preferred
Shift: Varies, rotating weekends
