Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our educational institution. As a teacher you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students. You will plan prepare and deliver engaging lessons monitor student progress provide constructive feedback and foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills a passion for education and the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Education or Special Education.

Valid Indiana teaching license.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Patience empathy and a genuine interest in supporting students academic and personal development.

Proficient in using educational technology and digital resources.

Familiarity with educational best practices and curriculum standards.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians.

Commitment to ongoing professional growth and improvement.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective lesson plans taking into account the individual needs and abilities of students.

Deliver lessons using a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter.

Evaluate and assess student progress through assignments tests and other forms of evaluation.

Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and growth.

Establish and maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes respect inclusivity and positive behavior.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance curriculum materials and instructional strategies.

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress behavior and any concerns or achievements.

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest educational trends and techniques.

Attend staff meetings parent conferences and other school events as required.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance grades and other relevant information.

Uphold and enforce school policies rules and regulations.

Additional tasks may be assigned by the Supervisor dependent upon the program. (BAS/BEEP/DAY REPORTING)

Salary and Scheduling vary based on the program and qualifications.
