Mold Technician Job Summary
The Molding / Extrusion Technician is responsible for the complete set-up, change over, adjustment and troubleshooting of all molds and injection molding equipment within the established process guidelines based on production schedule.
General Responsibilities
- Set and pull molds
- Start-up machines without damaging mold or machine
- Establish and maintain the process to produce a quality part at the optimum cycle
- Set up and adjust machines and molds for manufacturing parts according to the specifications established to ensure the quantity and quality of of products
- Troubleshoot injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
- Monitor and maintain all material and conveying equipment
- Record accurate data on proper forms as required
- Identify and correct safety hazards at the machine and work stations
- Support all areas of production as needed
- Work to create a clean and safe working environment
- Communicate with oncoming and outgoing shifts
- Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications
- Injection molding experience preferred, but not required
- Mechanical required
- Must have own tools and roll around box
- A "team player" attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow directions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
This position is for
2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) / 8hr Monday - Friday.
3rd shift (11pm - 730am) / 8hr Monday - Friday

- Plastics Injection Molding: 1 year (Preferred)
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
