Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Reports to: Human Resources Manager
Pay Rate: Commensurate with credentials and experience
Period of Employment: Full-Time, Exempt
The Ideal Candidate Will: Participate in developing Futures Inc. HR goals, objectives , and system. Assist with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of Futures Inc.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources , Business, or equivalent.
- Two plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources to include employee relations and compliance.
- Specialized training in employment law, employee relations, compensation, organizational planning, organizational development, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Effective oral and written communications.
- Always maintains a high level of confidentiality .
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate positively and sensitively to employees who come from a wide range of personal, social, cultural, ethnic, racial, educational, and professional backgrounds.

Duties:
- Assists with the implementation of the performance management system.
- Participates in recruitment of all staff. Reviews resumes for candidates when assigned. Interviews nonexempt and exempt candidates for employment when assigned.
- Maintains agency handbook(s) as well as oversight of other Agency Divisions protocols by ensuring that compliance standards are being met.
- Prepares and analyzes reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department and Agency. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested .
- Maintains employee-related information .
- Recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
- Participates in the conduct of investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.
- Provides payroll processing backup support. Reviews payroll for quality assurance. Partners with accounting and payroll to maintain the payroll database.
- Assists with benefits administration services .
- Processes various benefits and employment forms and provides information concerning all health and welfare and fined benefit plans; and assist with open enrollment.
- Acts as liaison between Workers Comp/Health Ins/Life/AD&D/Unemployment/403(b)/Flex Spending brokers and Agency.
- Helps to monitor the organization's culture so that it supports the attainment of the Agency's goals and promotes employee satisfaction.
- Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the HR Manager or Designee
