Job description
SoBran is seeking a Truck driver/non-CDL for our warehouse in Rockville which supports the National Institutes of Health campus in Bethesda, MD. Duties will include but not limited to:
Description of Duties:
- Safely drive, park and maneuver a 24/26-foot panel truck under 26,000 lbs. GVW.
- Responsible for a crew of driver helpers and 100% knowledge of our policies, processes and procedures
- Expert in the process and procedures for picking up excess property, prioritizing workload and adapting to changes.
- Excellent attendance is a must for this position.
Required experience:
- High School education or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain a public-trust level clearance.
- One to two years relevant experience and one-year specialized experience
- Good hand and eye coordination and depth perception
- Clean driving record-NO DUI/DWI
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.; bend, push, pull, stoop, climb and stand for a prolonged period.
- Detail oriented and ability to communicate effectively.
Preferred experience:
- Knowledge and use of handheld scanners
- Class B CDL
