The Opportunity
Fluor is seeking a highly skilled Executive Recruiter to join our dynamic Human Resources talent Acquisition team. The Executive Recruiter will play a pivotal role in identifying and acquiring top-tier engineering and construction talent to support our expanding operations. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the engineering and construction industry, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and recruitment skills.

Responsibilities for executive recruiter:
Executive recruitment:
•Build a strategic relationship with the business and HR and ensure alignment with executive recruitment process expectations
•Identify and assess candidates through effective direct sourcing and pipelining to minimize the use of engaging outside recruitment agencies
•Conduct in-depth candidate assessments and present finalists to hiring managers
•Continually look at new and innovative channels for identifying top talent, with a view towards current longer-term needs
•Develop recruitment strategies and share market intelligence discovered by partnering with clients, engaging with candidates, and staying on top of market trends
•Conduct candidate interviews and develop candidate profiles for review and consideration by client group that align with scope, expectations and salary of the position
•Deliver the highest quality full cycle senior management/executive recruitment service to hiring managers throughout the business.
•Schedule, manage and host all executive candidates during onsite interviews or coordinate scheduling and candidate arrival arrangements with respective location for various executives across multiple business lines
•Ensure an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow up and communications throughout the candidate’s lifecycle from initial contact to start date
•Serve as main point of contact to executive candidates throughout their onsite day and ensuring the interview schedule flows smoothly to provide a positive candidate experience
•Conduct candidate interview debrief sessions to determine timely selection decision
•Prepare and send offer packets in both soft and hard copies
•Partner with leadership to get a clear view on their strategic and financial objectives and hiring need for role(s).
•Collaborate with procurement to engage external search firms and complete service agreements
•Act as liaison between executive search firms and leadership throughout the search timeframe
•Manage sensitive information and exercise acute discretion at all times
•Influence senior management selection and identification for executive placement decision
•Educate candidates on the benefits, compensation philosophy and many advantages
Strategic/Passive Sourcing:
•Source and develop a high-quality talent pipeline for immediate hire and upcoming positions as the business dictates
•Devise and carry out a targeted research strategy to include development of a diverse talent pool for all roles
•Research targeted industries, companies, organizational structures and individuals our marketplace
•Map role criteria, define position description and document specifications and generate top candidate names and profiles for key and critical roles
•Track and identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels
•Cultivate a network of relationships inside and outside the organization in EPC and/or associated disciplines
•Conduct confidential interviews, follow-up references and check credits
•Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries
•Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion
•Follow up with clients and assist with the candidate’s transition and onboarding process
•Network and build long-lasting client relationships
•Know your area of expertise (specialized industry or job function)
•Research and develop recruiting leads
•Attend networking activities such as career fair, professional association meetings

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related executive recruitment experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
•Deep understanding of recruitment processes
•Demonstrated success in being able to identify and present viable candidates in a timely manner
•Proven ability to present to and communicate effectively with various levels within the organization, ranging from mid-level throughout the C-suite highly desirable
•Demonstrated proficiency in being able to manage multiple priorities and schedule that result in the most effective use of time spent across many activities
•Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software and candidate databases
•Strong knowledge of candidate selection methods
•Previous experience with candidate sourcing tools and methods
•Excellent knowledge of area of expertise (market status, trends, best practices)
•Client focused along with relationship building skills
•Business acumen and market insight
•Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
•Integrity and confidentiality
