Working closely with our international customers, we develop, manufacture, and install efficient, environmentally sustainable, technologically advanced energy cables, for both land and offshore renewable energy applications worldwide. The Role As our Project Health & Safety Manager for the US, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing occupational health & safety policies and procedures that will encourage and ensure safe and effective operations for our organization in the US. In this role, you will oversee communication and coordination of all health and safety programs for NKT, Inc. To be effective in this role you should have the flexibility to occasionally travel to jobsites as needed. This position will oversee and guide the technical and administrative direction of the company’s health, safety and environment, as they are essential to our overall objectives.

Required Skills & Experience To be considered for this role, candidates should be able to demonstrate experience complying with record keeping requirements of IOSH and other regulatory agencies at the federal, state, and local levels. As our lead safety manager in the US, it’s also vital that you possess a strong customer-oriented mindset and the willingness to be a resource to your colleagues at all levels. It is also essential that you have sound business judgement, a persuasive personality, are able to think strategically, and can lead by example.
