Summary

Coordinates the day to day requirements necessary to ensure compliance for all local, state, and federal environmental laws. Performs environmental testing, record keeping and reporting as required. Provides technical support on environmental issues to facility and operational managers and supervisors. Provides technical and operational production support necessary for compliance with applicable permits and regulations.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

\#1 Manage the SPCC , stormwater, waste and EMS plans.

\#2 Conduct Environmental inspections and perform required training.

\#3 Coordinate Green Team, recycling, energy and water activities, meetings and presentations.

\#4 Maintain chemical inventory and SDS manual for the Wastewater facility.

\#5 Manage recordkeeping needs for wastewater and air permits.

\#6 Assist the Environmental Manager in duties as necessary

Experience Requirements

At a Minimum we are looking for A) AA and 2 years exp in related field or B) BA with zero years exp. Degrees should be in Environmental Science, Biological Science or related field. Understanding of local, state and federal environmental laws and regulations. Understanding of standard software applications. Strong communication, math, organizational and analytical skills.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Able to move freely throughout AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 – 150’), carrying tools and equipment (0-50 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 – 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals ( SDS sheets available). Able to communicate on the telephone and use standard office equipment. Required to travel to remote AgriBusiness facilities.
