Responsibilities

The Digital Workspace Security team protects our customers and brands by enabling our internal partners to secure their solutions efficiently . As an Engineer 1 , you will be responsible for developing, modifying and implementing elements of technology to solve business problems.  As an Engineer 1 , you will also have the opportunity to assist in the design.  You will work with a team to test, research and investigate technology and assist with the requirements gathering of the solutions.  We are looking for a self-starter that will maintain established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards.

As an Engineer 1, Security on the Digital Workspace Security team, you will help manage our endpoint security posture by sustaining the security tools in our environment and working across the organization to improve our security baseline.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• 1+ years of security- related experience
• Understanding of security industry standards such as ISO 27001/2 and NIST security standards
• Prior scripting automation or application programming experience
• Experience with incident and problem resolution
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to quickly triage problems, determine root causes and drive resolution
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must have the ability to effectively collaborate and partner with others in a remote work environment
• Must be able to work independently with a sense of ownership to accomplish department and project tasks
• Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
• Experience with Windows, Linux, APIs, and Cloud environments is preferred
• Security-related certifications such as CompTIA Security+, GIAC Security Essentials, and Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) are preferred
• Experience with PowerShell and Python preferred
• Knowledge and working experience with Agile methodologies preferred
