Job description

Playabilities is a multi-disciplinary pediatric occupational, physical, and speech therapy clinic located in Johnson County, Kansas. We provide personalized, intensive, and client-centered therapy services for children with various neurodevelopmental disabilities including developmental delays, autism, and sensory processing disorder. We provide a relaxed, yet professional work environment comprised of a collection of highly motivated, self-driven therapists who feed off of each other’s love for their job and compassion for helping our families. Responsibilities

Assistance with client-related activities including: 

• Assisting the therapists with implementing educational activities and non-skilled tasks that support therapy delivery. 
• Assist in setup and preparation of materials and equipment needed for summer therapy groups and individual treatment sessions
• Provides educational activities to individual or small group of students under the guidance of a certified staff member 
• Support therapists during sessions to assist with engagement as treating therapist provides direct physical assistance with client
• Communicate with therapists to assist with needs throughout therapy sessions.

Assistance with Clinic Maintenance and Administration activities including: 

• Assist in maintaining sanitized materials and organized clinic 
• Assist therapists with room set up and break down when appropriate with direction from treating therapists
• Help keep inventory of needed materials and restock items as needed
• Assist therapists with making copies and treatment materials as directed
• Support with daily processes needed in order to maintain smooth efficiency and workflow of the clinic
• Follow opening and closing protocol at arrival as well as prior to leaving the clinic
• Complete basic administrative tasks as needed (scheduling, phone calls, laminating, etc). 

Other duties as assigned.

The role demands high flexibility and adaptability to cater to the clinic's dynamic needs. 

Availability

Monday-Friday, 40 hours (times can be a little flexible)

This is a 1099 Contract position

This position will be at our Leawood clinic.
