Salary Grade: Business Grade 06/ BG-06

Position Summary: The Academic Operations Associate is responsible for providing operational and logistical support to the teaching and learning office including general office management duties, project coordination and execution, and support to the director of academic operations. Coordinates with administrative staff among all academic offices to ensure exceptional service is provided to school leaders, teachers, and students. Assists with Assessment Department processes including student records, graduation/credit requirements, navigating complex assessment systems, compiling data from various platforms, corresponding with other school districts for RSA records, out-of-state test analysis, and entry to student information system. Ensures accuracy. Assists with research projects as may be required. Communicates on a positive basis with patrons, school personnel and students. Organizes testing materials. Inventories all testing shipments to and from the Assessment Department.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

• Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, project management or related field or equivalent work experience

Experience:
• Three (3) years of managing projects or initiatives preferably in an education setting

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
• Knowledge of Oklahoma School Law and Tulsa Public Schools Board Policy
• Knowledge of District and state student information management systems
• Knowledge of state testing requirements for graduation
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of Oklahoma laws and record maintenance for
retentions and promotions
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
