Job description
Join the MedAid team as a Staff LPN and enjoy flexible working schedules in long-term care/rehabilitation centers in the Fox Valley area. Earn between $28.00/H to $30.00/H, depending upon shifts.
With MedAid Staffing, LPNs will engage in multi-faceted and diverse work environments and gain exposure to a variety of nursing needs. MedAid LPNs acquire cross-functional work experience and knowledge to advance their nursing backgrounds and increase exposure to a wide range of acuity levels.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, primary nursing care to Residents.
- Delegates and supervises the care provided by certified nursing assistants.
- Makes rounds to evaluate status of Residents and determine resources.
- Work with unit nurse managers to obtain necessary materials and assistance.
- Identify, report and document incidents.
- Adheres to facility policies and procedures.
- Reviews, transcribes, communicates and implements physician's orders.
- Monitors nursing care activities of subordinates.
- Administers medications.
- Collects specimens as ordered.
- Makes rounds to assess Residents' status and evaluate care.
- Practices and assures staff adherence to infection control policies.
- Respects Resident rights; protects Residents from abuse or neglect.
Qualifications:
- LPN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Reliable transportation and working phone
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environment
