Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking a Detailer/Car Washer to join our team. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated with great attention to detail. As part of our team, you will work onsite as a detailing/reconditioning expert and play a key role in providing an immaculate vehicle to customers. Responsibilities
- Washes vehicle exterior to clean cars, using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes
- Applies wax to auto body and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine
- Vacuum interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris using a vacuum cleaner
- Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and devices
- Applies revitalizers and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components
- Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime
- Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials that do not respond to standard cleaning procedures, utilizing experience and following the product manufacturer's recommendations
- Paints engine components and related parts using a spray gun, aerosol can, and masking material
- Applies paint to chipped body surfaces of the vehicle, using a container of touchup paint
- Applies dyes and reconditioning chemicals to vinyl tops of vehicles to restore color and condition
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have clean a driving record
- Be able to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Able to pass a pre-employment background screening, Motor Vehicle Record Check, and drug test
