L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon Miami is the only restaurant in all of Florida to be awarded two Michelin Stars! We are very proud of this accomplishment and are looking for like-minded Hosts who are dedicated to elevating the guest experience and service.

L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon is the newest incarnation of the late Chef Joël Robuchon’s groundbreaking concept, which first opened in Paris’ Saint-Germain neighborhood in 2003, followed by Tokyo the same year. Currently with 10 distinct locations around the world, each restaurant feels of-its-place, staying true to the original Parisian roots, while drawing inspiration from the surrounding city and neighborhood--including The Miami Design District. L’Atelier’s name refers to a craftsman’s workshop, emphasizing Chef Joël Robuchon’s hallmark of elevating the simplest of dishes into something extraordinary using pristine ingredients, immaculate technique, and abundant creativity.The restaurant’s signature counter seating faces directly into the open kitchen, allowing for a dynamic interaction between chef and diner, and view into the creative process.

Chef Robuchon's protégés carry on this culinary philosophy at L'Atelier Miami, with a Modern French menu featuring iconic signature dishes, alongside new, ever-changing seasonal creations utilizing ingredients sourced from top local and regional purveyors.

Description

L'ATELIER de Joel Robuchon seeks an enthusiastic and capable   Host/Hostess   to join our exceptional team of service leaders. This role is always attentive to the overall first impression that a guest receives, greeting all guests with warmth and hospitality.

Your Responsibilities:
• Greet guests in a warm, friendly and sincere manner. Provide a warm welcome and a fond farewell upon departure.
• Answers phone calls and guest inquiries.
• Has full knowledge of the floor plan and seating charts
• Manage the day to day reservations, walk-in and cancellations/ no-show in the reservation system
• Seat guests in accordance to their preferences and under the direction of the Manager on duty.
• Responsible for the overall presentation, cleanliness and organization of the assigned guest service areas, such as the coat check, bathrooms, and other guest spaces.
• Guides guest to assigned table and ensure their satisfaction.

Your Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of reservations or host experience in fine dining restaurants, or establishments of similar caliber.
• You must be organized, motivating, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and of course personable.
• Working knowledge of reservation management systems is highly preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule. (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
