As part of the Disney+ Programming and Content Curation team, we are responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, and programming insights that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service. On the Disney+ Content Programming team, we ensure the Disney+ and Star+ global frameworks drive audience engagement and discovery with local relevance!
You will be responsible for supporting global Content Programming in Disney+ by building programming, coordinating projects, and innovating processes & tools. You will report directly to the Content Programming Senior Manager.
Support product and experimentation process with programming and product teams
Coordinate Disney+ content optimization across global programming teams
Track priority content campaigns, support editorial merchandising and promotion strategies
Facilitate verbal and written communications between teams, and to the larger organization
Partner with programming data & insights to take action on findings
Understanding of digital media platforms and sophisticated data literacy
Outstanding prioritization, and time management skills; ability to complete multiple, high-priority projects, with a keen attention to detail
Open to thinking outside of traditional models
Well-developed written and verbal communications skills
Can lead multiple projects in varying stages of development
Highly organized with excellent follow through
Ability to work across a matrixed organization while also able to self-motivate
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with content management systems, Airtable, Excel and/or Google Sheets
Experience writing and/or editing copy
Multilingual (written) proficiency
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program. Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or Tech fields of study preferred
All students must have unrestricted work authorization and be at least 18 years old
All candidates must be available from June to August and able to work up to 40 hours/week
Interns must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship
