Job description
An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Long Term Care RN Supervisor at a top critical access facility in Southwestern Wyoming.
This facility is one of Wyoming's most respected & preferred hospitals. This hospital offers a comprehensive continuum of inpatient and outpatient health care services, expertise and specialties, including orthopedics and spine care, cancer care, cardiac and vascular care, stroke, obstetrics & maternity care, pediatrics, emergency care as well as diagnostic imaging, screening, testing and urgent care.
The Long Term Care RN Supervisor will assist the Nursing Manager to oversee unit workflow, scheduling, evaluations, conflict resolution, delivering sensitive information to patients and families, and will continuously collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create individualized patient care plans. Additionally, this Long Term Care RN Supervisor will ensure state and federal regulatory compliance, update policy procedures, and implement performance improvement initiatives. The Long Term Care RN Supervisor will be a hands-on leader, assisting with direct patient care and educating new-hire and current department staff on best practices using the latest technology and techniques.
Ideally, the Long Term Care RN Supervisor will have some leadership experience, a clinical background in long term care or working in a skilled nursing facility, hold an active RN license, and be open to the different shifts available.
