Description
An Accounting Clerk position is available through Robert Half, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a short-term contract employment based in the Newark, Delaware area. Your responsibilities in this role - Compose statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources - Contribute to Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance - Assemble documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes - General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects - Harmonize discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required - Aid Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing - Circulate financial information to journals and ledgers Requirements – Expertise in documentation- Good understanding of Business Partners
- Solid understanding of accruals
- Foundational knowledge in Middle Office
- Invoice experience
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Knowledge of Daily Reconciliation
- Hands-on experience with Language Interpretation
- Practical knowledge of Loan Administration
- General familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience with Payment Processing
- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Proficiency in Interprets
- Previous experience working with Daily Deposit
- Comprehension of Overtime
- Prior experience with P & L Calculation
- Experience with Perform Quality Control
- Well-founded grasp of credit
- Earlier work involving Lead Special Projects
- Quality experience with Microsoft Office Suites
- Solid understanding of Amendments
- Skills in Margins
- Comprehensive knowledge of communication
- Experience with Interpreting
- Wide ranging experience with funds
- Prior experience in Spreadsheet and ERP system
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
- Experience with high volume data entry
- Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment
