Job description
1. Lead and run RULER trainings. 2. Develop culturally relevant curricular content for RULER that is aligned to CCSS, CASEL, Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) standards. 3. Coach school and district clients to support and ensure fidelity of implementation of RULER. 4. Work closely with the School Initiatives and Evaluation and Assessment teams to support program assessment and evaluation. 5. Serve as point of contact for current and prospective clients.6.Documents trainings, communication with clients, etc. 7. Manage staff including training and supervision of full time employees, consultants, and student workers. 8. Develop and maintain budget related to project. 9. May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skill/ability 1: Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking, with the ability to inspire others.
Required Skill/ability 2: Ability to translate research and theory on youth development and emotional intelligence into practice.
Required Skill/ability 3: Demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous projects with high attention to detail.
Required Skill/ability 4: Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop warm and productive relationships with internal staff and external stakeholders from schools.
Required Skill/ability 5: Demonstrated ability to contribute meaningfully to a multi-disciplinary team and respond to the needs of diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Education: Master's degree in education, psychology, or related field. Three or more years as a curriculum writer, leader, teacher, and/or coordinator of RULER or another social and emotional learning (SEL) program in a school or district.
Work Week: Standard (M-F equal number of hours per day)
