Responsibilities: - Greet customers and assist them in identifying and purchasing automotive parts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and offering expert advice on parts selection.
- Utilize electronic catalogs and inventory systems to locate and order parts efficiently.
- Process parts transactions accurately and handle payments with attention to detail.
- Maintain a well-organized and clean parts counter area for an optimal customer experience.
- Collaborate with the service and sales departments to ensure timely fulfillment of parts orders.
- Keep abreast of product knowledge, updates, certifications and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
- Handle telephone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Assist in receiving and organizing incoming parts shipments.
- Contribute to maintaining an efficient and customer-focused parts department.
Qualifications: - Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field is preferred.
- Some experience preferred in both front and back of parts counter.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work at heights of 25 ft.
- Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities.
- Familiarity with electronic parts catalogs and inventory management systems.
- Detail-oriented and organized approach to handling parts transactions.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and parts is a plus.
