About the Opportunity:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated instructors to join our team remotely. You'll have the opportunity to engage learners using interactive and communicative teaching methods, all while enjoying the flexibility of creating your own schedule. Whether teaching adult language learners, K-8 Mandarin Chinese students, ESL learners, or K-12 math enthusiasts, you'll play a pivotal role in providing personalized and impactful learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

Provide engaging online instruction to individual learners or small groups, maintaining consistent availability.
Utilize provided teaching modules and supplement materials with additional resources tailored to learners' needs and interests.
Prepare and customize instruction as necessary, particularly in subjects where materials are not provided, such as math tutoring.
Track and record lesson progress and learner assignments.
Share student updates and progress reports with staff.
Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging student motivation and progress.
Communicate effectively and professionally with learners, parents/guardians, and team members.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism at all times.
Requirements:

Subject-matter expertise in the relevant field.
Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
Previous experience in online teaching.
Experience in curriculum development/editing is advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Access to necessary equipment (computer, webcam, microphone) and reliable internet connection.
Comfort and proficiency with technology, including a willingness to explore new tools.
Availability of at least 4-10 hours per week (program-dependent).
Positive, open-minded attitude with strong leadership qualities.
Ability to manage time efficiently and think critically.
Completion of a Criminal Background Screening.
Status: Independent Contractor

Location: Remote (U.S.A. and Canada)

Compensation: Per session contract rates vary based on teaching experience.
