Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Mesquite, Nevada is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
• Assists with weekly schedules.
• Manages proper application and assists with documentation of all chemicals and fertilizers.
• Calibrates and operates pesticide sprayers.
• Responsible for all phases of golf course maintenance as directed by Lead Assistant Superintendent.
• Supervises many small projects as instructed.
• Assists the Superintendent in preparing short-term and long-term agronomic strategies to maintenance of the golf course daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly fertilization, irrigation, etc. schedules.
• Assist the superintendent in development, presentation, and documentation of safety meetings.
• Able to perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Two Year Certificate or greater in related field.
One or more years of progressive golf course management experience or related field
Must have a valid driver’s license or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain a Nevada Pesticide license.
This position includes working outdoors in a wide variety of environmental conditions
Must have a strong knowledge and experience of golf course operations, equipment, fertilization/chemical applications and calibration, Irrigation Management and Personnel Management.
Must possess basic and computer skills.
Passion for the game of golf and the golf business strongly desired.
Ability to communicate in Spanish is helpful.

Compensation:
$50,000 – $60,000 per year.
