The Administrative Admissions Assistant partners directly with the Community Relations Liaison to meet the occupancy/revenue goals of the community.
In your Administrative Admissions Assistant role, you will be responsible for all front desk administrative duties and the implementation of an effective internal admission processes. In addition, supporting effective customer-focused internal systems in conjunction with the Executive Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Answer incoming calls daily, forward calls, take messages and deliver those messages to appropriate personnel.
- Filter incoming faxes and deliver to the appropriate individuals.
- Complete inquiry calls quickly, follow up in a timely manner (hospitals, families, potential residents, etc.), and collect deposits(as applicable).
- Conduct community tours and coordinate admissions process through completion.
- Participate in monthly or quarterly sales and marketing plans.
- Prepare new admission packets for the nursing team.
- Gathers appropriate documentation for new residents and prepare the electronic medical record.
- Obtain insurance authorizations and verify insurance benefits.
- Obtain financial documentation related to the Medicaid pending process.
- Completion of resident admission paperwork and agreement.
- On call rotation with the Community Relations Liaison
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years sales/marketing experience, experience in Medicare-certified organizations and senior living environment preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience working in senior living preferred.
- English literate and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
