CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.  CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

Responsibilities

Job Summary / Purpose:

Provides technical expertise in Computed Axial Tomography procedures in accordance with the mission and philosophy of CHI St Alexius Health.

Qualifications

Required Education for Staff Job Levels

Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.  Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.  Ongoing CT specified education including radiation protection and minimization of patient radiation exposure.

Required Minimum Experience

Preference given for 1 year clinical experience

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Computer and Clerical Skills, Radiographic and patient care skills obtained at an approved School of Radiologic Technology.  Effective communication skills,  Prior Epic experience helpful 

PREFERRED Education and/or Experience

Basic Life Support Certification (CPR- Healthcare Provider) within 480 hours of employment and meets re-certification as required.

Licensure : Registered Radiologic / Computed Tomography Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology 

ND state Licensure NDMIRT. 

Preference given to applicants with CT registration.
