Job description
Job Title: Tax Manager
Team/Department: Accounting
Location: Hartford, CT (On-site/Hybrid)
Hours: Full-time
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $165,000
- Monitor audit/tax and office profitability, suggest measures to improve procedures
- Establish project budget for audit/tax services
- Coordinate various phases of large engagements, including staff requirements, locations to be visited, and scheduling
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships, corporations, S-corporations and individuals for a variety of clients
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting with demonstrated mastery of accounting and auditing principles and/or tax principles.
- Bachelors degree in accounting is REQUIRED.
- CPA license is REQUIRED (if licensed, must be a member in good standing with AICPA).
- Competitive salary base: $110,000 - $165,000 (DOE)
