Description

Waukesha County Health & Human Services is seeking a caring individual to organize and supervise the serving of meals and the delivery of Meals on Wheels to local seniors. Perfect hours for the newly retired, stay at home moms and dads, and those looking to give back to their community. Grow or share your leadership skills by assisting with and overseeing the work of our excellent volunteers. The need is for substitute / on-call coverage for absences and scheduled time off for the regular dining center managers and to help the ADRC reopen dining centers that had been closed due to the pandemic; ideally able to travel throughout Waukesha County to all 8 County senior dining centers as needed. Typical work hours are 9:30 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday. No holidays or weekends. This position does not have benefits. Prior to hiring, the successful candidate will be subject to work/education/certification reference(s) verification, a criminal background and driver's license check.

Example of Duties

Under supervision, to organize and supervise the serving of meals to senior citizens; to organize and coordinate social and recreational activities; and to perform other duties as required.
