Media Buyer About The Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Media Buyer to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough market research, developing effective media plans, negotiating with media vendors, executing media buys, and optimizing campaigns to achieve maximum reach and ROI. The Media Buyer will play a crucial role in driving our advertising efforts forward by leveraging their expertise in media buying strategies and tactics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Media Buyer or similar role in the advertising industry.
- Strong understanding of media planning, budget management, negotiation, and campaign optimization.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools and media buying platforms.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to understand target audiences, market trends, and competitor strategies.
- Develop media plans that outline the most effective combination of media channels (TV, radio, print, digital, social media) to achieve campaign objectives within budget constraints.
- Determine advertising budgets and allocate funds across various media channels based on their effectiveness and reach.
- Negotiate with media vendors to secure favorable rates, placement, and added value opportunities for advertising placements.
- Execute media buys by placing advertisements in chosen media channels according to the approved media plan. Monitor ad placements to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Monitor campaign performance and make real-time adjustments to media plans to optimize reach, frequency, and ROI.
- Utilize analytics tools and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as impressions, clicks, conversions, and cost per acquisition (CPA).
- Build and maintain relationships with media vendors, advertising agencies, and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, account management, analytics) to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns through post-campaign analysis and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to share insights, recommendations, and lessons learned.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in media consumption habits to continuously refine media buying strategies and tactics.
