Job description

Maintenance Technician (FT) 

Presbyterian Villages of Michigan, a premier senior housing and services organization, has a great immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Jackson, Michigan. The selected candidate will have demonstrated their ability to build, install repair and/or maintain machinery, equipment, physical structures, building systems and the outside environment.

Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience: One to two years related experience in maintenance required.
Computer Skills: Ability to operate a computer and operate maintenance software.
Certificates & Licenses: Must have a Valid Driver's License; Certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC preferred
Other Requirements: Required to be on call and respond to maintenance emergencies, as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stand, Walk, Climb, Squat/Kneel, Bend; Lift/Carry 50 lbs. minimum (occasionally); Push/Pull 50 lbs. minimum (up to 100 lbs. occasionally); Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception); Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
