Job Duties:
The Department of Biology at East Carolina University ( seeks to fill a fixed-term faculty position (9-month appointment) at the Teaching Assistant Professor level.
Minimum Education/Experience:
A Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field (including but not limited to Microbiology, Cellular Biology, Immunology or Molecular Biology). Qualifying degrees must be received at the time of consideration from accredited institutions.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Prefer applicants with experience in problem-based/active learning classroom teaching. We are open to applicants with expertise from any biological subdiscipline but would prefer someone who has training and/or research experience in the area of immunology.
