Cache County is looking for a full time Recorder Technician to join our Recorder's office.

This is a full-time benefitted position generally working M-F 8 a.m.-5 p.m. You get weekends off, 14 paid holidays, and plenty of personal leave time! We have competitive wages, great insurance benefits, and we also participate in the Utah Retirement System.

RESPONSIBILITIES

T he Recorder Technician will perform a variety of complex and technical clerical functions as required by statutes established by the State of Utah and Cache County Corporation policies. The Recorder Technician duties include, but are not limited to, a ssisting the general public with the recording and retrieval of property information, answering telephone and walk-in inquiries on property concerns and issues, review and analyze documents for recording completeness, accuracy, and legibility. The Recorder Technician will also extract and enter relevant information from the recorded documents into the county recorder system, apply correct statutes and policies to determine the effect, and verify legal description for conformity with existing record description.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one year of general office or data entry experience, preferably within an office setting with functions directly related to land title records, land development, county government, or other government entities.
