Job description

Job Title: TeleMedia AV Engineer

Client: PIMCO

Location: Newport Beach, CA (Should be local to the location)

W2 role

Position Description:
This position will focus on designing, implementing, and managing Cisco collaboration and AV
technologies, while also maintaining and enhancing various aspects of "white-glove" support to end
users located around the world.
This position requires the ability to manage complex requests. The candidate will have exceptional
communication skills, written and verbal. The candidate will have experience solutioning AV designs
incorporating feedback from local GC and Pimco personnel as well as understanding cloud collaboration
meeting platforms. The candidate will also need to have a strong understanding of modern conference
room technologies and manufacturers including; SIP video connectivity, Cisco telepresence endpoints,
AMX, Crestron, Biamp, and network connectivity concepts.


Responsibility:
Provide audio-visual and video conferencing support for official meetings and other high-level events.
Design and integrate state-of-the-art audio and video hardware, codecs, cameras, microphones, and
control systems into meeting spaces.
Manage and support Video support vendors and manufacturers (example: Webex, Zoom, MS Teams)
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand specific AV requirements and design tailored
conferencing solutions.
Ensure seamless compatibility and interoperability with various conferencing platforms and
technologies.
Maintain, monitor, control and program several large-scale video media walls and financial data ticker
systems
Build and maintain APIs for video conference systems integrations
DSP Troubleshooting and management
Lead AV integration projects from inception to completion, overseeing timelines, budgets, and
resources
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, designers, and IT professionals.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of AV system configurations, diagrams, inventory, and
troubleshooting procedures.
Develop user-friendly guides and manuals for internal teams as well as facilitate trainings.
Qualifications:
o 10 years of experience in AV system design, construction drawing review, integration, and
maintenance.
o Experience with cloud-based meeting platforms. (Zoom, MS Teams, Webex)
o Analytical and technical skill to troubleshoot equipment and diagnose problems in real time to resolve
issues
o Possess the demeanor to provide "white-glove" level service to internal and external clients.
o Must be able to interact with all levels of management, and perform well in high-pressure situations.


o Candidates must be organized to manage and contribute within a team environment, capable of
earning trust from all levels of management. Present a professional image to internal and external
customers.
o Must be flexible to meet emergency deadlines that may fall outside of normal work hours, must be an
exceptional crisis manager, and work well under pressure.
o Must be able to organize work and manage own time to maintain accurate records and schedules, as
the position requires
o Proficiency in AV control systems, Audio processors (e.g., Crestron, Extron, BIAMP) and video
conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
o Avixa CTS Certifications (preferred)
o CCNA- Collaboration / Route Switch certification (preferred)
