HUMAN RESOURCES PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR Delaware Electric Cooperative (DEC) is a thriving member owned utility located in Southern Delaware. DEC is seeking a full-time Human Resources Payroll Administrator is responsible for overseeing the company's payroll processing and associated work functions. The HR Payroll Administrator will help in developing and administering programs involving the Cooperative's personnel, benefits, insurances, human resources, administrative services, labor contract administration and organizational planning. • Responsible for overseeing hourly payroll and preparation of management payroll, payroll taxes, reports, quarterly and yearly. Maintain files and records for retention of records. • Responsible for overseeing the company PTO for all employees. • Responsible for month-end, quarterly and year-end reports and processes. • Responsible for W-2 and 1095 processing and distribution, along with any additional payroll and tax documents needed for filing. • Process and manage all aspects of payroll, including calculating hours, calculating deductions, balancing, and ensuring weekly payroll is processed each week. • Resolves payroll discrepancies and answer employee questions about payroll. • Keeps up to date with changes in payroll regulations and adjust payroll systems and processes accordingly. • Prepares invoices for payment. • Reviews payroll tax reports to State and Federal Government as required. • Keeps all department and general staff personnel informed of changes in procedures and practices within company and departments and advises them of reporting requirements. • Assists with the Cooperative's Culture Improvement Plan. • Assist and monitor Pension Plan Compliance. Assist in preparing and submitting the Mid-Year and Year End Testing. Including 5500 reports and filings. • Assist with weekly Pension funding and monitor hourly adjustments as needed.
