Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate, perform set-up changes and first article inspections on production runs in their area of responsibility

• Experience in programming the machines in their area of responsibility

• Measure, mark, and cut dimensions, reference points on material or workpiece

• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines, such as mills, lathes, and grinders

• Verify and calculate dimensions/alignment of assembly, using measurement instruments, such as micrometers, pin gauges, calipers, etc

• Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes and milling machines

• Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments

• Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations

• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process

• Read blueprints, drawings, and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations

• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2-5+ years of experience operating CNC machinery

• Proficient in interpreting blueprints, drawings, specs, and routers

• Maintain accurate dimensional tolerances based upon drawings, attention to detail - required

• Experienced working with aluminum, copper, brass, and steel is required

• Math and computer knowledge and ERP systems is required

• Ability to occasionally lift and carry items ranging from 50-100 pounds (over 50 lbs with assistance)

Pay Details: $26.00 to $32.00 per hour
