Job description
Clean Response, Inc. puts people's lives back together. After a property has suffered damage from a fire, flood, or similar tragedy, our team helps the property owner recover by cleaning up, drying out, and rebuilding. Clean Response, Inc. is looking for Mitigation Department Manager.
This positions main function will be to help run the Mitigation Department, i.e.: respond to emergency calls, assist in field, run crews on various jobsites, conduct jobsite visits, complete moisture checks, help train new technicians, work with various property managers, and be a great crew leader!
Job Duties:
- To assist in repairing properties that have suffered water or fire damage
- Removal of damaged materials
- Place drying equipment when needed
- Replacing damaged materials with new
- Keeping job site clean at all times
- Gain basic knowledge of cleaning solutions, mixtures and cleaning techniques
- Develop and understanding of water loss procedure
- Gain knowledge of equipment operation and correct application
Job Requirements:
- Must possess a positive attitude
- Belief in the value of providing superior customer service
- Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Prepare reports to manager timely
- Able to stand and work on ladders up to 12 ft. high
- Able to crawl on stomach and/or hands and knees for multiple hours a day
- Able to work with hand tools and power tools
- Able to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
- Able to work in semi-confined spaces such as attics, crawl spaces, etc.
- Has a reliable form of transportation to and from work
- Can be reached outside of normal business hours (cell phone, e-mail, etc)
- Able to work on their feet for multiple hours each day
- Able to be part of our on-call rotation for emergency jobs
- Must be able to work in areas with loud noises
- This position will evolve and require flexibility, responsibilities may change
- Current IICRC certifications a plus, WRT, Fire, or Mold course a plus!
Must be able to use small to medium power tools to remove building materials such as:
- Drywall
- Hardwood flooring
- Tile
- Carpet
- Plaster, etc...
Must be able to use the following tools:
- Saws and sharp knives
- drills and impact drivers
- HEPA vacuums and extractors
- screwdrivers and ratchets
- Tape measures
- brooms and shovels
