Job description
Abba Health Services Llc has an urgent need for a experienced Caregiver, CNA or PCA in Atlanta near Chamblee to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.
This position is Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 4PM
Must be experienced in client care. Experience working with patients with Parkinson's disease a must. Experience with dementia patients also needed. Must be able to start immediately. Patient prefers a male caregiver
This Caregiver will work 1-on-1 with a male client inside his homes, and help him with all activities of daily living such as :
Bathing, transfer, dressing, grooming, eating, eliminating.
Assist with range of motion exercises inside the home.
Provide medication reminders to patients
Provide companionship and basic care to patients
Maintain a clean and healthy environment (meal prep, light housekeeping, etc), Run errands.
Clear communication with supervisors and nurses regarding client conditions and issues.
Documenting findings accurately in a timely manner and on appropriate forms
Provide compassionate care to clients.
Idea candidate will be very dependable, honest, empathetic, patient, polite, respectful, have strong work ethics and pay attention to details.
Must have dependable transportation.
Georgia CNA or PCA license preferred. Male caregiver preferred
CPR and TB test required
