JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Talent management and Recruiting reports to the Vice President Human Resources for RITTAL/EPLAN. Position is responsible for leading Talent Management and Talent Acquisition . Reporting directly to this role are a Training manager and three Recruiters (team total of 6
). Responsibilities: - Helps the organization to develop High Performance Culture
- Raises the bar on talent performance, accountability, development and training.
- Leads annual People and Capability review and partners with business leadership and HR Business Partnering on succession, talent development and coaching.
- Directs recruitment strategies, vendor relationships, employee value proposition, and leading the recruitment process.
- Utilizes analytics and KPIs in TM & Recruiting to continually improve organization priorities and key objectives.
- Leads annual employee engagement survey process and collaborates with cross functional leadership and HR Business Partnering on facilitating actions.
- Partners with business leadership to embed best practices and continuous improvement.
- Develops career paths to drive succession and employee development while partnering with leadership and HR Business Partner on talent opportunities and potential internal promotions.
- Role acts and change enablement champion and partners w/ leaders and HR Business Partnering on critical organizational design transformation
- Partnering closely with Global CoE and experts on Talent Management and Recruiting
- Specifies, implements and reviews locally HR concepts, policies and standards in the respective
-standards in the respective subject area, based on global guidelines - Establishes local HR policies, tools, processes and initiatives in line with business needs and supports local implementation
- Is part of the global network on the respective specialist topic and supports the global further development of the topic
- Provides subject matter expert support to the local business and advises the local and regional HR community and initiates (and leads) local/regional HR projects/programs/initiatives within global guidelines
- Technical contact for the global CoEs
- The HR CoE Expert supports the local / regional business with expert advice and solutions in competence-specific matters. He specifies global solutions and implements them in the respective country.
Knowledge & Experience: - Minimum of ten years’ experience working in talent, driving Talent Acquisition and Talent Management results
- Prefer a leader who has worked in global organizations with a preference for German and/or European HQs
- Able to influence change and manage conflict constructively while managing multiple complex priorities.
- Change agent who is abreast of latest industry standards, best practices and who enables the organization to adopt change in a sustainable fashion.
- Deep external network regarding potential talents, vendors, recruitment agencies and industry associations
- Strategic leader who is also hands on and actively leading implementation and adoption.
- Experience working in high growth transformative environments a plus.
- High level of local expertise in the CoE subject areas
- Strong HR process understanding and general understanding of local labor law
- Ability to identify local needs, abstract from them and contribute to finding global solutions for the entire group
- Innovative and conceptual strength as well as enthusiasm for the solutions developed
- Distinct change management to accompany the implementation with appropriate concepts and methods
- High level of professional leadership competence
- Good communication skills in a local environment as well as negotiating skills and persuasiveness, assertiveness and implementation strength
