Job description
Our client is a pioneering AI-driven startup utilizing causal and explainable AI to empower community health plans, providing advanced insights for more efficient and timely health interventions. Currently, they are hiring a Head of Data Science to join their team, where you will play a key role as an individual expert, delving into data to devise solutions tailored to the complex requirements of healthcare analytics.
Responsibilities:
As the Head of Data Science, you will collaborate with the CTO to spearhead the design, development and implementation of advanced predictive analytics models and algorithms, addressing intricate healthcare challenges to improve patient outcomes.
You will partner with company leadership to formulate and execute a comprehensive data science strategy in alignment with business objectives and market requirements.
Build, mentor and lead a high-performing data science team, cultivating a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning within the team.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, customer success, and business development, to seamlessly integrate data science solutions into their products and services.
Oversee the development and maintenance of scalable data infrastructure, ensuring high standards of data quality, integrity, and accessibility for thorough analysis and modeling.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, actively identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Skillset:
Demonstrated leadership experience in data science, showcasing the capability to independently address complex tasks and set a leading example.
Robust technical proficiency in data science, evidenced by a successful history of designing and implementing predictive analytics models.
Proven track record in building and managing high-performing data science teams.
Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to align data science initiatives with overarching business objectives.
Salary: $180,000 – $220,000
