Sr. Financial Analyst opening in Bradenton, FL
This is an exciting new role to help build out the finance department in a rapidly growing healthcare company. This position will be creating / building out the process and maintaining budgeting process, implementing a budget system, creating P&L and other reporting
Role: Sr. Financial Analyst
Pay: 85 – 100 K (contract to hire preferred, however direct hire will be highly considered)
Hours: Monday – Friday 8a – 5p with some overtime required as needed
Location: On site - Bradenton, FL
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Financial analyst will assist in all aspects of month-end close with the preparation of monthly financial statements to be presented to the Board of Directors. Maintains various Finance schedules including Fixed Assets, Prepaids & Loan Schedules. Tracks and posts monthly Grants & Contracts, along with their draws. Assist in reconciling and submitting quarterly Wrap-around Reports and miscellaneous projects within the Finance Department.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and maintaining budgeting process, implementing a budget system, creating P&L and other reporting
Work with the operations team to train and develop budgets and build out this system
Develop management reporting
Help design financial reporting
Help manage expenses / KPIs and help develop these
Help with system implementation / they are currently using Great Plains – but this will be sunsetting soon so they will need a new accounting system
Responsible for the maintenance of the General Ledger
Responsible for reconciling the Balance Sheet accounts monthly
Controls and maintains fixed asset inventory and records and maintains depreciation schedule.
Works closely with Finance Team during month-end closing procedures to post and update prepaid schedules, loan schedules, intercompany transactions, accruals, and other month[1]end closing needs
Assists in the compilation of financial statements prepared for the Board of Directors and
Finance Committee to include budgeted –vs- actual P&Ls
Assist in the preparation of the annual UDS Financial report and other required Federal, and Local Reports
Tracks and reports monthly Grants and Contracts, along with their draws
Assists in maintaining permanent books
Maintains an open line of communication with the leadership team
Health operations and key performance indicators
Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field preferred
5+ years related experience in finance
Experience working in finance in the healthcare industry
Well rounded experience in finance creating and developing new KPIs, developing a budgeting process, creating financial reporting and implementing processes
Proficient in Excel including pivot tables and V-Lookups
ERP implementation experience preferred
PowerBI, Tablaeu or similar reporting system experience
Great Plains or similar ERP
