Position: Application Architect (Job Code: 1337)
Duties: Responsible for providing support for architecture discipline as defined by departmental requirements; assist with the definition and facilitation for the development of architecture required to meet business strategies and goals; identify, support, and analyze enterprise business drivers, IT strategies, and current IT environment in order to recommend solutions to improve, develop, and align IT to the business; utilize and apply knowledge of COBOL, JIRA, AWS Cloud, HP Quality Center, HP ALM, Data Conversion, Project Management procedures, TOGAF, Enterprise Architecture, VSAM, Z/OS and DB2 to perform assigned duties; work on complex domain activities, projects and programs that require in-depth technical specific architecture discipline areas, including security, information, data, and solutions.
Location: Southfield, Michigan and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;
Salary: $145,600 per year;
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree -- Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Solutions Architect, as a Senior Software Engineer, as a Computer Software Developer, as an Associate Consultant, as a Specialist I – Software Engineering, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements: Experience must include three (3) years use of all the following: COBOL,
JIRA, AWS Cloud, HP Quality Center, HP ALM, Data Conversion, Project Management
procedures, TOGAF, Enterprise Architecture, VSAM, Z/OS and DB2.
Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
