Job description
An International Industrial Distributor of Power Transmissions, Motion Control and Pneumatic products and Engineering Systems is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to add to our team located at our Waltham, MA HQ office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Candidate must have strong selling skills and experience calling on industrial accounts
- Meet/exceed sales forecast
- Develop new markets and achieving fast growth objectives
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers
- Assist with sales forecasting and long range planning
- Accurately report activities and expenses in a timely manner
- Maintain necessary records and files
Qualifications needed for this position include:
- Willingness and ability to travel daily within your sales territory
- Creativity to approach sales and build customer relationships in groundbreaking new ways
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales
- Solid experience within the industrial sector
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Negotiation and social problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team sales environment and multitask
The successful candidate will have an Associates Degree or equivalent, in either a technical or business discipline. Candidate must be an effective communicator, team player and have a strong desire for success.
