Since 2009, our team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We’ve designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onwards toward certifying the Joby aircraft with the Federal Aviation Administration, scaling our manufacturing, and preparing to launch commercial service in 2025.

The Certification Project Engineer, International will be a key position supporting validation and certification projects with international Civil Aviation Authorities .  This position will focus on both strategic and tactical aspects o f international projects and will be responsible for driving project execution through close coordination with the res t of the Airworthiness Engineering T eam and other stakeholder departments . While th e candidate will start as in individual contributor, coordinating across functional adjacencies , thi s position may grow to include direct reports , depending on the size and scope of the international projects .  

T he Certification Project Engineer, International will focus their time primarily on aircraft certification and airworthiness responsibilities and secondarily on supporting certification related activities for flight operations, pilots, mechanics, and safety management .  

 

Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $133,500 - $216,700/year. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
