Job description

Responsibilities

• Initiate athletic training interventions which includes prevention, recognition, evaluation, rehabilitation, and recovery of injuries.
• Provide emergency care and crisis management for sports-related injuries.
• Provide services to meet the demands of the department including on nights and weekends.
• Provide referrals to appropriate community resources 
• Liaison between physicians, coaches, parents, and athletes
• Injury reporting and documentation 
• Patient education
• O ther responsibilities or needs of the department as assigned. 

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Bachelor or Master level degree (preferred)
• Certification & Licensing:
  • NJ license or pending 
  • NATABOC certified 
  • BLS certified 

Other Requirements 

• NJ Driver’s License
• Ability to lift over 10lbs 
• Travel required
