Job Description
Bosch offers an excellent Rotational Development Program (RDP) that is tailor-made for Bachelor's and Master's candidates. This 24-month entry-level rotational program is designed to provide you with professional and leadership opportunities throughout the Hardware Engineer Team. The Rotational Development Program consists of four rotations that are customized for you. You will gain extensive experience of working with varied work teams and environments. In addition, you will be assigned an executive mentor to provide professional coaching and career guidance, and a peer mentor to help you navigate through the program. Also, you will have the opportunity to participate in structured networking events and targeted training to gain leadership exposure.
Qualifications
Provide support in development of electrical HW, application and testing for customer projects.
- Understand, interpret, and negotiate HW related customer requirements with the OEM.
- These requirements concern electrical circuits, EMC and/or electrical motor and other associated components.
- Plan, specify and implement HW related changes to a platform ECU in order to fulfill specific requirements of the customer.
- Mediate between central hardware development in Germany and customer.
- Communicate customer project HW information and requirements internally with various groups such as purchasing, sales, engineering, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining an Open Issues List for the assigned project/s and attend regular meetings with the project core team to review the project Open Issues List.
- Lead problem solving resolution, root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement efforts for engineering as well as support continuous improvement for safety and quality during the program
- Provide support for the manufacturing facility
- Assure compliance with automotive quality standards such as TS16949 and other internal/external policies and procedures
- Manage/support testing and validation according to customer milestones and document required results in accordance with internal and customer requirements. Other: Occasional travel will be necessary depending on project demand. This RDP requires an international rotation. Required
qualifications
: - BS in Electrical engineering or mechatronics
- 0-2+ years’ experience in testing in the automotive field or related industry.
- Experience in electrical circuit design.
- Minimum of overall GPA of at least 3.0
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Preferred
qualifications
: - Knowledge electrical component validation.
- Possesses the interpersonal skills communicate with coworkers.
- Basic German language skills.
- Proficient with computers and related software, i.e. MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Project, etc.
- Experience on CANalyzer, CANape, INCA
