As a Purchasing Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, contributing to the development of cutting-edge power electronics for next-generation vehicles.

Location: Remote (within the US)

What You'll Do:

Expertise in Action: Dive deep into one of our exciting areas, such as SMT/Chip production, E-motor components, Inverter assembly, or BECM assembly. Your knowledge will be key in understanding the ins and outs of the Bill of Materials (BOM), cost drivers, and competitive intelligence.

Quality Crusader: Lead the charge in eliminating quality obstacles and implementing best practices within your commodity area. Your commitment to excellence will ensure that our products meet the highest standards.

Sourcing Superstar: Drive the process to source commodities on time and meet program targets without compromising on quality. From issuing RFQs to negotiating contracts, you'll be the driving force behind our supply chain success.

Strategic Collaborator: Work closely with global counterparts and engineering teams to develop and maintain commodity strategies. Your ability to establish strong relationships and communicate effectively will be crucial in aligning our efforts across borders.

Leadership & Growth: Act as a leader within the team, providing support and assistance as needed. Embrace opportunities for professional and personal growth as part of our vibrant and inclusive work culture.

What You Bring:

Passion and Creativity: Bring your enthusiasm and creativity to the table, embracing the dynamic nature of our industry with open arms.

Experience & Expertise: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, coupled with at least 4 years of purchasing experience. Automotive commodity purchasing experience is a plus!

Technical Know-How: Deep understanding of one of the commodities listed, along with familiarity with purchasing tools and systems such as SAP and Ariba.

Problem-Solving Prowess: Flexibility, strong analytical skills, and the ability to consider multiple points of view will set you apart as a creative problem solver.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must, along with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
