Job Title: Senior Service Technician

Job Description:
Nesco Resource is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Service Technician to join our client's team in the Capital Region. Our service technicians are professionals who possess vast mechanical aptitude, demonstrate efficiency in their work, and exhibit strong attention to detail. They are knowledgeable and experienced in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, water heaters, and indoor air quality products. Our technicians take pride in their excellent communication skills and their ability to provide a high level of positive service while interacting with our valued customers.
Physical Requirements:
Our technicians work in customers' homes under various conditions. While performing the duties of this job, technicians are regularly required to stand, kneel, lift, reach, and crouch, sometimes in small or tight spaces, and may be required to lift, push, or pull heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on residential heating, cooling, and indoor air quality systems.
Troubleshoot and identify issues with equipment and systems, utilizing advanced technical knowledge.
Conduct thorough inspections and testing to ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
Collaborate with the service team to coordinate and prioritize service requests.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports and documentation.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and support staff.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance technical skills.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Senior Service Technician or in a similar role.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
