Job Summary
The ideal candidate for this position has both instructional design and facilitation experience, is comfortable working with a wide array of people and organizational entities and is able to effectively manage multiple projects.
Main Responsibilities
Training Facilitator
- Design, plan, organize, or direct training programs for employees.
- Facilitate training in person and through video technology utilizing Microsoft Teams.
- Create a positive internal customer experience and improve the productivity, knowledge base, and skill set of employees through the development and instruction of comprehensive training programs.
- Experience providing training to employees at all levels, from entry-level to management.
- Present information with a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.
- Obtain, organize, or develop training manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.
- Analyze the effectiveness of training and workshops for the employees and develop appropriate modifications if needed.
- Communicate consistently with management regarding learner attendance, behavior, or other issues as needed.
- Distribute and analyze training feedback surveys.

Instructional Design
- Conduct needs analysis to identify learning objectives and determine training solutions.
- Design engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.
- Consult with Subject Matter Experts and other key partners to create instructor-led, self-study, toolkits job aids, and/or online instructional content that effectively engages the learner.
- Develop and design training content, including presentations, participant and facilitator guides, job aids, and multimedia content.
- Create interactive learning activities, scenarios, and simulations to enhance learner engagement and comprehension.
- Implement quizzes, assessments, and surveys to measure learning outcomes and gather feedback.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Use trending principles of instructional design and multimedia skills to incorporate elements such as audio, videos, simulations, role plays, games, etc. in the content.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure online training modules' functionality, usability, relevance, and effectiveness.
- Utilize the LMS for usability including course catalog management and user management/ assignment/ tracking/ reporting.
- Take full ownership of executing assigned project tasks to ensure all deadlines are met as needed or proactively addressed.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university, instructional design certification a plus.
- 4+ years of proven experience as an instructional designer.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Experience designing and delivering large-scale programs, content, and materials from scratch.
- Demonstrated ability to identify learner needs, analyze and logically organize complex information, and accurately transform complex bodies of information into professional, engaging, and effective learning content.
- A self-starter mentality and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively. Able to work remotely and make independent judgments.
- Ability to quickly learn new content tools and internal applications.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management abilities.
- Strong expertise in developing training solutions, including presentations, user guides, job aids, and multimedia content.
