Job description

Jackson Pharmacy Professionals is a leading pharmacy staffing and placement company! This is a great contract opportunity to work with a hospital in Chesapeake, VA. Rotating shift in an inpatient clinical setting. Benefits starting day 1 and top compensation! $70/hr or travel for qualifying candidates. 

Pharmacist Position Details:

• $70/hr plus benefits (travel packages available to qualifying candidates
• Rotating schedule
  • 5x8's Rotating schedule, weekdays, some weekends (every 3rd weekend)
  • Shifts could look like the following: Day shifts: 0630 – 1500, 0730 – 1600, 1000 – 1830, Evening shifts: 1430 – 2300
  • Majority of shifts will be day and/or evening, with a weekend rotation and occasional overnight shifts if needed (1900 – 0700)
• 3+ month contract with potential to extend
• Hospital inpatient setting

Hospital Pharmacist Requirements :

• Active VA Pharmacist license, required 
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; PharmD, RPh required
• IV experience, pain controlled analgesia, antibiotics, drug interactions, order entry, verify medication orders - required; Chemo experience, anticoagulants, Pharmacokinetic Dosing, Renal Dosing - preferred
• 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience required; travel experience preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
