Your role in our team
- You will create quotes for purchase parts, spare parts , and new machine parts with input from Service co-workers and all other departments in the business.
- You will validate quotes internally for spare parts, send the quotes to the customer, and copy internal personnel as needed.
- You will perform field calls and communicate with the customer as needed throughout the quoting process.
- You will enter all customer generated Pos for parts outside of OEM sales, providing customer with order confirmation and add payments to the SO if necessary.
- You will create all work orders containing parts and assemblies. Also add operations, due dates, verify customer billing and ship-to, ensure work orders are correctly entered, and any other detailed information as needed.
- You will work with all departments to ensure all orders are completed on time, and providing updates to the Customer.
- You will approve order payments on milestones, close the WOs when complete, create shipments in CBM, close out the SOs, and create warranty WOs as necessary
- You will work with Purchasing, Machining and Assembling on capacity alignments for Spare parts.
- You will work with all departments to direct any difficult issues to the correct personnel for support that could possibly be handled remotely.
- You will manage Customer and Sales Manager parts requests.
- You will follow up with the customer on any action items.
- You will be responsible for monitoring and following up with the customers.
- You will work with Assembly Coordinator/Project Team for additional tech support when needed.
- You will work with Project Management to ensure a spare part list is generated at or near FAT.
- You will work on improving Spare part related processes.
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering related field (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing), or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Your experience in a Service Role is a plus.
- You possess competency with computers, file management, administrative procedures along with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook.
- You demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- You display organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- You exhibit the ability to multitask.
- You have the ability to work with tight deadlines.
