Salary Range: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00
Bonus Plan: 10-15%
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 4 years of catering sales experience.
- 2 years of Hospitality Management experience

About the Role
In charge of procuring fresh business opportunities while also converting current clients into contracted catering events and group hotel sales. Additionally, oversees all front-of-house operations and personnel for Banquet Operations.
Responsibilities
- Recognizes the 24/7 responsibility inherent in the position and remains accessible at all times.
- Actively pursues new catering opportunities to meet revenue targets, leveraging networking prowess and adept client relationship skills.
- Demonstrates extensive familiarity with the local catering landscape, encompassing group, wedding, and social segments.
- Collaborates with various departments to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
- Initiates maintenance work orders as needed to uphold venue standards and functionality.
- Cultivates positive interdepartmental relationships, serving as a liaison to foster effective communication.
- Secures catering sales through both proactive outreach and internal referrals, ensuring a robust pipeline of business.
- Develops and oversees catering sales revenue and operational budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- Identifies market trends, conducts competitive analysis of products, services, and pricing strategies.
- Demonstrates creativity in menu design, collaborating with the culinary team to price specialty offerings.
- Manages the entire sales process, from booking and confirmation to billing, proposal generation, and contract administration.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of various banquet service styles, including American, French, and others.
- Maintains on-site availability for group functions and casino events, acknowledging the role's round-the-clock nature.
Candidate Requirements
- Able to obtain gaming license with the Virginia Lottery
- Casino or Convention experience
