Job description

ATV Technician - Conway
Pay range $16.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Conway motorcycle shop is seeking an ATV/Motorcycle Technician. The technician diagnoses faults, repairs, replaces parts and does routine services on all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), motorcycles, and side-by-sides.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Repairing engines, brakes, electrical systems, ignition systems, fuel injection systems, plugs and carburetors.
• Doing inspections and routine services.
• Fitting and repairing tires.
• Customizing or fitting accessories.
• Advising customers of necessary repairs and giving an estimate of cost and time.
• Reading and following manuals, worksheets, technical drawings or CD-ROMs.
• Using hand and power tools such as wrenches, drills etc..
• Using computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Heavy lifting and pushing.

Required:
Valid driver’s license required.
1 year + experience in a business shop and satisfactory work references.
Must be willing to work on a team and open to receiving feedback based on quality checks.
High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Hours:
Shift: 8:00am-5:30pm M-F
Overtime Sat 8:00am-12:00pm (OT paid at time and a half)
Hours can be somewhat flexible (e.g. work 8-430 or 9-530 if needed for family or personal reasons), working 2 or more Saturdays (8am-12pm) per month is required.
6 major holidays paid. Paid vacation/sick leave is available after six months.

The Arkansas Division of Workforce Services (ADWS) is the state agency responsible for providing job-related services to unemployed state residents, such as coordinating training and educational opportunities, processing unemployment insurance claims, and connecting job seekers with employment opportunities in the state.
